This unique leather piece, measuring 52cm x 52cm and just under 1.5cm thick and has a 5cm square and is comprised of 1cm thick high quality leather mounted on a sturdy 0.5cm thick hardboard, finished with a high grade 2mm thick felt base ensuring durability for endless chess battles.

Crafted by the skilled hands of local artisan John Kerr, this chessboard is a testament to the quality and tradition that Ireland has been famous for.

Using only the finest leather and employing time-honored techniques, each board is a work of art. The high-grade 2mm thick green felt base enhances both aesthetics and functionality.

As leather is a natural product your board will be unique and may differ slightly from the pictures. As all leather does, this eye catching centerpiece will age beautifully.

The board takes a number of days of meticulous work to complete but I'm sure you'll agree that the end result is simply beautiful.
